Resilience and Hope

The Spring 2024 Concert, “Resilience and Hope,” offers a moving musical program celebrating the valor and strength of the human spirit—resilience and courage in facing the challenges of war, discrimination, pandemics, and climate threats—and the redeeming power of hope. Selections include pieces by female composers such as French prodigy Lili Boulanger, contemporary African-American composer Rosephanye Powell, and Hye-Young Cho, composer-in-residence for the National Chorus of Korea. The chorus will also perform the beautiful Duruflé Requiem.  This inspiring concert also features an 18-piece orchestra, and soprano and baritone soloists.
